As a data strategist, Damon has spent the last 20 years working with companies and departments to give them a competitive edge by helping them understand the impact of data & analytics on their business model and processes. By understanding the business and working with Data Scientists, Business Intelligence (BI), and Technology partners, Damon has been able to translate the ambitions of managers and executives to concrete data-driven initiatives & specific actions, delivering new or improved solutions.

Currently, Damon is a Vice President at one of the largest banks in the United States, where he is the BI Data Strategy & Delivery Leader for the Corporate Properties Group. Damon is also a certified Project Manager, Microsoft Certified Professional, Data Strategy consultant, and educator.

In addition, Damon provides real-world advice, support, and consults to students in The School of Data Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
